What single adjective do you think would be most frequently used to describe you by those who know you best? Briefly explain. (Stanford)

Every person has multiple characters. These are expressed at various stages of his life. However there is always one character that defines him to the core, which is a part of his or her identity and which comes to peoples mind instantly when they hear that person’s name. For me that one character is ‘hyperactive’. This has both its pros and cons. The advantages include being able to perform all the activities with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm, being able to take part in sports with a renewed never seen before vigor, be ready for whatever life throws at me and having a never say “I give up” attitude. These are some ways in which hyper activeness has served me well in life. But this characteristic also has its cons. As I am hyperactive I don’t like sitting in one place. One of my Grade 6 teachers even called me “A boy with roller skates on his legs”. It also leads to over excitement for even the smallest reasons that may sometimes not go well with others. Sometimes when I go out with my friends I shout louder than I intend which causes a sense of embarrassment. But over all I am not disappointed with being called “hyperactive Harshit”. In fact I am quite proud of its positive effects and continuously am trying to reduce the negative effects. For instance I no longer keep on moving around but try to sit in one place for longer. This has led me to become a more peaceful person. I also am trying to keep my excitement level down and the progress is quiet appealing. Thus to conclude my hyper activeness has been a boon to me in many ways and therefore I am proud of being a member of the ‘Hyperactivobia Club’.

  1. So tell me about this club of yours?
    Who's called you hyperactive?
You were totally excited and "hyperactive" about being "jalebi bhai" in our item number song for homeroom! Our advisor loved your "enthusiasm", especially the night before (when we were practicing).
